The ship has been docked in Newcastle since May, when it returned from a nine-month deployment within the Milne Bay Province of Papua New Guinea.

It was stationed with other YWAM medical ships in reaching remote coastal and island communities, including marine and primary health care training of locals.

YWAM Ships Newcastle has pushed the ship’s redeployment to PNG back until autumn 2019 to avoid sailing in cyclone season.
